Shri S Ganesh
Shri S Ganesh is a former Principal Chief General Manager of Reserve Bank of India, with 3 decades’ Pan India experience, including 10 years at senior management level. Currently, he also holds the position of Independent Director on the Boards of Indel Money Limited, an NBFC based at Kochi and Sonata Finance Pvt Ltd., an NBFC MFI based at Lucknow, and has served as a Non-Executive Director on the board of BSS Microfinance Pvt. Ltd. at Bengaluru.
Shri Ganesh’s work experience spans NBFC board directorship, RBI Directorship on the Boards of two public sector banks (UCO Bank and Oriental Bank of Commerce), bank supervision, banking ombudsmanship, RBI regional directorship, and Management and Delivery of Training as Principal of the Reserve Bank Staff College at Chennai and Faculty Member at the Bankers Training College at Mumbai.
Shri Ganesh holds a Master’s Degree in English from Bangalore University and is a Certificated Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). He is a certified trainer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and has an academic orientation and deep interest in Training, Learning, and Development.
Smt. Rama N.S.
Smt. Rama is serving as the CEO of ELCIA since December 2009. She was the Vice President of Infosys from 1995 to 2009. She has an extremely challenging portfolio that involves engaging with members, government, agencies, groups and organizations. Rama is also one of the first few women engineers in Karnataka, a gold medallist included. Rama has been heading the Bangalore Development Centre for Infosys spanning a huge term in her career. She handles multiple portfolios including: Security, Waste and e-Waste Management, Transport and Commuting, Water and Electricity and so on.
Shri. Krishna Venkatesh
A GATE scholar, Mechanical Engineer by profession and an alumni of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Venkatesh holds a Ph.D in Nanotribology. He has over 25 years of Industrial, Research, Academic, Consultancy and Administrative experience. He is currently the Founder Director of CIIRC and has established research cum incubation labs in different domains of S&T. He is also a VTU Executive Council Member, Member Karnataka Knowledge Commission (UAS) and Steering Committee Member of TUV Rheinland.
During his two decade career he has worked with NAL, BEML, IISc, DRDO, Visvesvaraya Technological University and Jain University in different capacities. As a special officer of VTU, he was responsible for numerous trans-national initiatives to set up academic and research programmes with the likes of Honeywell for Avionics, FESTO for Mechatronics, Diamant for Tribology and others. At Jain University, he was responsible in shaping numerous initiatives and held concurrent roles as the Dean and Director of Research and Engineering having been the Founder Director of Centre for Emerging Technologies. He was also responsible for the Technology Business Incubator at JU funded by DST and Alstom from France being its CEO and a FIST centre from DST for an Advanced Instrument Facility. Additionally, he established the TUV Rheinland Energy programme at JU.
He has also completed numerous research projects and was instrumental in Jain University getting more than 25 projects worth about 20 Crores funded by DRDO, DOS, DST, DOS, DAE, MOFPI, NRB, KCTU and private bodies. Venkatesh has numerous research publications, citations, products, monographs, book chapters and patents (filed) to his credit and has been conferred with awards from Diamant of Germany, KSCST, Honeywell, Indian Institution of Engineers and others. Additionally, he also happens to be the Director of Drone Aerospace, a company that is into the development of Micro Air Vehicles. Drone Aero represented India at The US Army-Asian technology demonstration for Micro Air Vehicles and Unmanned ground vehicles and finished in the top 10 from competitors competing worldwide in 2008 and Drone in partnership with DC enterprises won the 2014 edition of NP-MICAV event in mission mode sponsored by DRDO and CSIR.
His research interest include Tribology, Autonomous Systems and Energy. He is also a fellow of various professional bodies like IEI, TSI, ISAMPE, IIPE and others besides having been a delegate to various countries as part of FICCI, GoK etc. An avid sports person he also represented the State and University in his younger years as a swimmer and is the recipient of many awards. Besides he is also into white water rafting and spice farming.
Shri. B.R. Ravi
Over 35 plus years of experience in the field of Administration & Facilities. He has worked for Multinational Group Companies like Wilkinson Sword Ltd., Glaxo India Ltd, Comsat Max, Astra IDL, General Electric and retired as Associate Vice President with iGATE Global Solutions Ltd., He has also worked with Oman National Transport Company (Ministry of Transport & Communication), Muscat for a period of 4 years. During his 13 years stay at iGATE, he was taking care of operations in India as well as Australia & Mexico Centres.
He is a certified Six Sigma holder and has contributed towards achieving CMM Level 5, and also trained his employees on Six Sigma projects , Environment & Health Safety, Business Continuity Plan & Disaster Recovery Plan. Apart from Admin & Facilities, he was heading the transport for 4000 plus employees at GE and close to 7500 employees at iGATE. He was given the responsibility of building 2 million sq ft of Infrastructure at iGATE across India and has closely worked with departments like Pollution Control Board, Fire Department, Ministry of Ecology & Forests, Airport Authority of India, KIADB etc.,
Smt. Kavitha P.
Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, heads the Direct Taxes, Corporate Law and Advisory divisions of T Sriram, Mehta & Tadimalla, Chartered Accountants.
Her experience includes tax advisory, tax litigation management, Cross Border Transactions, Transfer Pricing, International Taxation and Corporate Tax Structuring across industries. She advises multi-national corporates on joint ventures, inbound and outbound investments, transaction structuring. Her specialization lies in offering solutions by relating the business strategies to tax and regulatory environment. She has vast experience in dealing with taxation, finance and corporate governance matters of companies, partnerships, Trusts etc. and mentoring and advising start-ups. She helps clients in Succession Planning and Family Arrangements.
She is part of Board of Directors and Board of Advisors of many companies.
She is a member of Kannada Sahitya Parishad and writes articles on social awareness topics in regional newspapers. She is the Founder and Managing Trustee of ‘Chiranthana’, a NGO functioning in rural Karnataka. The Trust is mainly focusing on education in rural areas. She loves Carnatic Music and plays Veena.
Dr. Solai Baskaran
He as obtained PhD from IIT Delhi. He is also a Qualified lawyer with LLB Degree. Dr. Solai Bhaskaran has been in Leadership position in corporate for two decades and currently he is also COO. Contributed to Academics as Professor , Dean and Director. Adjunct Professor of Management in DSU
